About Us
Curtain Design has been owned and run by the Smith family since 2010. From humble beginnings in a small Hamilton shop, we’ve grown to a team of 25 including sales consultants, our manufacturing team, installers and operational staff.
And although we’ve expanded, we remain a family business at heart. We’re not part of a big retail brand, and we think that’s our superpower.

It’s personal! As a small, family-run business we go out of our way to help - and every client matters to us. We manage every step of the process, from your first chat with one of our expert consultants right through to when our installers fit the finished product.

Measured, cut, stitched and finished: your curtains and Roman blinds are hand-made by the team in our Hamilton workshop. We have seven experienced sewers dedicated to crafting quality products for installation across the region.

It’s not just about doing business - it’s about doing right. We believe in looking after people, starting with our staff and clients and extending out to our community. From upcycling our offcuts to local schools to supporting charities close to our heart, we believe in giving back to our community.
